I had a dream that I updated the blog.

Unfortunately I forgot what I updated ^^; Anyway, lots of chemistry homework, I'm really glad this week was spring break, even though I overslept a lot. There's not much to report, though recently I got a travel package from the tour company I'm going to Japan with this summer. And I've also gotten an update email from Chuck, our Taiwan team leader. Things are moving forward!

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood the third episode comes out tomorrow.

General feeling of tiredness

My my... 11 more weeks in the school year. Next week is spring break and it'll be over for the summer!!! It seems like whenever I try to study for SATs my eyes get tired and my brain goes numb. I can't seem to pay attention! On that note, I went to some memory training class today with my family, it was pretty interesting, we learned different tactics of memorization, they helped a lot. Now I hope they'll help on SATs. Ack, speaking of SATs, scores come out tomorrow!!! :O
*pause for shock*
ok. I'm not excited.

Anyway, I hope to also post some of my doodles on this site, once I have the time. uhm...anything else, oya!

NEW FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST OUT!!!!! YESSSS! I'm gonna head over to animesquish and watch the first ep.

In final news, I looked up some reviews for Japan Airlines, and the overall impression I've gotten is that it's not too comfortable, but the attendants are very polite :P

Anyone read this thing?

SATs

Well I'm trying out a new font here, it looks nice, sans serif and all. I can't stop thinking about this summer. Anyone out there got any tips on traveling in Japan or learning Japanese? Besides for that, I've got SATs to do in the next three months. I have yet to start studying for the SATII MathII and the SAT U.S. History. Meh. Hard subjects, especially the math! stress stress stress stress stress. Ah well. Besides for this, I hear there's a terrible computer virus going around on April Fool's Day (not a joke, go to CNN and lookit up). It's called "conflicker", so y'all be careful. Don't open any emails from people you don't know, update your security software, and don't stumble around (stumbleupon is fun, but kind of dangerous). So stay safe kiddies! XD I'm not old enough to say that am I?

My SAT books have taken over!

Space taker

Since I don't have the scanner connected and I don't have much progress in fundraising yet, lemme post some pictures of clouds. I really really love clouds, but not just ANY clouds, I'm talking, big, poofy, rich, cumulonimbus clouds with depth! While I was in Taiwan my friends couldn't understand my fascination with them, but it's just that, here in CA, all are clouds are so...dry...er, they look, stretched, as if someone stuck em in between two textbooks and squished all the moisture out. Now in Taiwan, those clouds are so beautiful, those are the clouds I'd like to lay upon my back and stare at, not these lame clouds we have in California.

summer 2009

So basically I deleted all the previous posts and am now starting afresh and anew. I decided to update about the trip I'm taking this summer.

I'm going to rural Taiwan with a missionary organization called VGM (Village Gospel Mission). VGM sends missionaries all over the world to different countries, I happen to be going to Taiwan, an awesome and wonderful country that I love very much. However, the problem is that I'm not going with anyone from California (where I live) but am actually going with a group over in Virginia. There were some issues with the time and meeting arrangements with them, so my dad came up with a brilliant idea that I could tour Japan while waiting for them. Japan's a pretty cool place, so I said yes, naturally, but there are some conditions that I must meet before I can go:

1) Fundraising: I'll have to be able to pay for the trip without too much help from my dad

2) Practice Japanese everyday: I'm already doing that at school, but this includes watching Japanese TV and reading some manga

3) Exercise frequently: yes, most of you do it everyday, but I don't, so I really have to start picking up the pace.

4) Live a disciplined lifestyle: this includes getting up in the morning extra early before school and finishing my homework extra early as well.

5) document the trip: this wasn't actually a condition, but I'm planning to do that through the blog.

One problem I may have is that during the trip I won't necessarily have internet connection, I'll be going for one week to Japan with a travel agency called "super travel and tours" (bestustours.com), and I'll have very little chance to use the internet. During my awesome mission trip I'll probably have once or twice a week, but I'm still planning to keep track of it all through a handwritten journal and a digital camera. So anyway, there's the background of why I restarted this blog.

What I hope to achieve:
1) people can look at my trip pictures and writings and feel part of the experience
2) encourage myself to progress with my goals
3) have maximum fun

ooh I can't wait until summer.
